However, the following scenarios are currently not supported on a Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2012 R2 operating system:
- Upgrading the operating system to Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2012 R2 for an existing installation of Lync Server 2010 is not supported.
- Microsoft Lync Server 2010 Group Chat Server is not supported on Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2012 R2.
